“70% of nonprofit leaders say they are worried about burnout on their teams”
Space is limited.
We'll set the meeting day and time around the availability of those who register.
eddy (noun)
A pocket of water behind a rock where the current turns and slows. Paddlers pull into one to rest, look downstream, and choose their next line before reentering the rapids.
Made for executive directors
You lead a nonprofit, whether it has served for fifty years or is just launching.
You check email on vacation and feel guilty either way.
You want peers who understand the job, in a room where you can leave the title at the door.
You joined us in May and want to keep going, or you are hearing about the eddy for the first time.

Rest is not a detour. It is part of the route.
Executive directors carry the mission, the budget, the board, and the team. It is easy to get swept up in the work and skip the care we need to keep going.
In May of 2026, local nonprofit leaders gathered for our Finding Your Eddy workshop. This cohort goes further: six weeks with the same small group of peers, building rhythms you can keep long after it ends.
One stretch of river at a time
Across six one-hour sessions, we'll move from why we need eddies to how we head back into the current with intention. Some themes may take more than one session, so we'll follow the group's pace.
Resiliency
Why leaders need eddies, and what happens when we never pull out of the current.
Rapids
Naming the obstacles you are facing right now, in your organization and in yourself.
Rhythm of Rest
What truly brings you rest, and how to build it into your weeks instead of waiting for vacation.
Reflection
Pausing to look back at the water you have come through and reevaluate what matters.
Reconnaissance
Scouting what is ahead so you can navigate it rather than react. Do you eddy out, or change your path?
Reengage
Heading back into the current with a plan, a rhythm and a group of peers in your corner.
SAVE YOUR SEAT
Pull into the eddy before the next set of rapids
Six one-hour sessions, one small group of executive directors, and room to breathe. We launch in January 2027 and will choose a meeting time that works for the group. Seats are limited so the group can stay close.
